ABOUT ABIGAIL
I'm a storyteller at heart and by profession. I excel in building positive brand profile for organizations and their leaders. I love writing and telling stories that drive positive and lasting impacts in people's lives.

I’ve worked for a diverse mix of brands and organizations – including a leading global NGO and humanitarian agency, one of Canada’s largest national banks, a global publishing house, and a number of health, human rights, and youth-focused charitable organizations.
With 20+ years of professional experience, my core areas of expertise include marketing, communications strategy, media and public relations, and executive thought-leadership. I’m a writer and PR strategist who has been successful at driving positive brand profile for organizations through compelling narratives and integrated campaigns.
One of my proudest career accomplishments, while working with a global NGO, was leading a successful communications campaign to highlight the impact of Canadian-funded maternal and child health projects overseas. This campaign helped to secure a Canadian investment of $400 million in funding for the continuation of these projects and coincided with the global summit on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) in May 2014.
I find value in giving back to community and have been involved with several community organizations and initiatives, particularly those engaged in protecting the safety and rights of women, children, and marginalized communities.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading a good 'whodunnit' and almost anything written by Agatha Christie. I treasure time spent with family, friends, and my two fur-babies, Midnight Darling and Chazak.
